Topic: Bullying of autistic students

Once upon a time, there was a kid named Billy. Billy wasn't normal or average: he was special because he had autism. In his class, Billy always helped people and cared about them. For example, when Billy was in class, he helped people when they needed help with their work. Work like math, reading, and essays. Because he had autism, it was hard for him to interact with people and help, due to his disability.

Billy was a nice person. He was caring and nice to his family and his peers. His friend’s name was Chris. Chris was not born with autism. He was always caring to Billy and never made fun of him, and he was a true friend to Billy. For example, in class one day, Billy took a risk to get Chris’s backpack, which was downstairs. This was a risk because people also bullied Chris, but Billy still went downstairs to get his friend’s backpack. So when Billy got his friends backpack, Chris thanked him so much.

Sometimes when Billy went to school, he got picked on or bullied just because he had autism. See, Billy had a type of autism where he couldn't speak or talk that well. Other people and his family thought that no one should bully Billy just because he had autism Whenever Billy’s parents heard that kind of stuff, they were almost in tears. But when Billy said stop every time, the people who were bullying him never stopped. Whenever he got bullied or picked on, he always told his family.

At first Billy’s parents went straight to school and talked to the principal. Then, when the principal found out, he was almost in tears, and sent the bullies straight to his office. When the bullies went to the principal’s office they were threatened by the principal and the principal said if you do that one more time you will be expelled.  They thought about what they did and said sorry, and then they started being nice to Billy.
